Instruction for Maintaining Cutting Boards
Dear Users,

To ensure the longevity and quality of your cutting boards, please adhere to the following tips for proper use and maintenance:

1. First Use- Before the first use, wash the board with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry it thoroughly.- The boards are already impregnated, so there is no need to treat them with oil immediately. Repeat the impregnation process only when you notice that the board is becoming dry.

2. Proper Cleaning- After each use, wash the board with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid using strong chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the surface.- Never soak the board in water or leave it in the sink, as this can lead to warping and cracking.

3. Drying- After washing, immediately dry the board with a cloth or paper. Never leave it to dry in direct sunlight or in damp areas.

4. Storage- Store the board in a dry, cool place, away from heat sources. Ideally, the board should be stored upright or horizontally to prevent warping.

5. Regular Maintenance- Every few months, check if the board is dry and treat it with nourishing oil to preserve its natural beauty and extend its durability.

6. Avoiding Odors and Bacteria- To remove odors, after washing, you can wipe the board with lemon or sprinkle it with salt and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.- Always use different boards for meat and vegetables to prevent cross-contamination.

7. First Signs of Wear- If you notice deep scratches or damage, consider gently sanding the board with fine sandpaper. After sanding, be sure to treat the board with oil.---By following these tips, your cutting board will remain in excellent condition and serve you for many years.
